One of the few non-wildlife photo-op stops we made while in Yellowstone National Park was at the overlook of the Lower Falls in Yellowstone Canyon. It is a magnificent site. We stopped late in the day so a lot of the canyon was shrouded in shade. I made a 5-stop bracket shot with an HDR (High Dynamic Range) composite in mind. I just keep experimenting and having fun with photography.
These falls are nothing like I imagine Niagara Falls to be (Haven’t been there yet.) But I am sure I would not want to go over these falls either in a barrel!
It was amazing to see the trees that were going along the canyon walls and the rocks they were growing out of. Talk about tenacity.
A GREAT SHOT AND I AM WONDERING WHAT THOSE YELLOW FLOWERS ARE . NIAGRA IS AWESOME BECAUSE OF THE LARGE VOLUME OF WATER POURING OVER.
The “Yellow Flowers” are actually branches of a pine tree with the sun shining on them.
